Intuit ProAdvisor Program Education Update

I began working with Intuit about nine years ago, and during that time, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with their education team—both helping to develop content and delivering sessions for ProAdvisors across the U.S. As a current member of the Intuit Partner Council, it’s been especially rewarding to see how much attention Intuit is giving not only to education but to the ProAdvisor Program as a whole.

There are three areas of the program’s evolution that I’m most excited about and wanted to share with you—because they represent real investments in our collective growth as accountants and advisors.

1️⃣ The New ProAdvisor Training Manager

Launching soon, the ProAdvisor Training Manager is a tool I’ve had the chance to preview and even beta test. As someone leading a team of eight, I love that I’ll be able to track what each team member is learning—fulfilling one of our firm’s core values: educate ourselves so we can educate others.

With this new tool, I can assign specific courses to my team members, monitor their progress, and—something we often forget to do—celebrate their achievements. It’s a simple change, but one that will make a big difference in how we manage learning, accountability, and recognition inside our firms.

2️⃣ New Courses and Certifications

One of the most exciting additions to the program is the new CAS curriculum (Client Advisory Services). This isn’t just QuickBooks Online training—it now includes bookkeeping certification for those coming from nontraditional backgrounds, along with soft-skill development (which, let’s be honest, are often the hardest skills to master).

Another course focuses on strengthening our understanding and analysis of financial statements—a great refresher even for those of us who have been in the industry for years.

At a time when our profession faces a talent shortage, these courses are a fantastic way to upskill team members who may not have accounting degrees but have the drive and curiosity to learn. And with AI and technology reshaping our workflows daily, this kind of structured education will help our teams thrive.

And remember—because of the new Training Manager, we can assign these courses, track progress, and celebrate wins together.  There’s even a new badge for it!

3️⃣ Enablement Toolkits

Another enhancement I’m thrilled about is the introduction of Enablement Toolkits, found in the new Resource Hub section of ProAdvisor Academy. We all know how strong Intuit’s marketing expertise is—and now we’ll be able to leverage that expertise ourselves.

These toolkits will help us translate our new skills and product knowledge into client conversations—bridging the gap between what we learn and how we help. They’ll include resources that make it easier to explain to clients how Intuit’s tools can help them run better businesses, manage cash flow, and ultimately be more profitable. It’s a win for both our clients and our firms.

💡 Looking Ahead

It’s inspiring to see Intuit continuing to invest in the accounting profession—especially as technology evolves so rapidly and changes how we serve clients every day. I’m leading my team through many of these same transitions, and I’m grateful to see Intuit providing the tools, training, and support that help us grow alongside the changes.

I encourage you to explore these new resources and take advantage of everything the Intuit ProAdvisor Program and ProAdvisor Academy have to offer.
